Conacher is the Sens leading scorer this morning based on his Tampa production. It was a great return for the Sens. Just not in the cards for the Flyers at this time.

He has stepped up in a MONSTER way since Coburn and GrossmanN have gone down.

I know he has been pretty steady for most of the season, but in my opinion, he has been huge lately.

Flyers made right decision to drop out. Couturier plus a 3rd is way too high. Now if it was Lehner it might be a worthwhile consideration.

Speculation on TSN was that Bryzgalov was as good as gone (buy out) in the off season. I don't believe that, I think Holmgren was really looking for a high end back up not a replacement.

If it wan't for his huge cost and contact I'd agree with you...but I really do believe he is gone. He is a "good" goalie, but not GREAT for that kind of contract. And that alone is the reason I think he is gone. Not because of his lack of play but because of what the Flyers have at stake with him. He is a huge Cap hit...

Crazy rite!

Amazing when the team plays defense, how the whole team and the individual parts all look better.

The gaps are smaller. The wreckless forcheck has been dialed back. The 3rd man is staying high. The Back-checking has been more intense.

That, what was it 5 days? That 5 day break has done alot of good for this team. Adjustments were made and a difference is noticeable.
