Philly fans aren't fair weather fans ... at least, not as much as other cities. The problem with Philly fans is that we're bi-polar.

When our team is winning it's all peaches and cream. No one is as good as us, and we're destined for a championship. But when our team is losing it's all "trade this guy" or "fire the coach" type of talk.

It's always one extreme or the other, and very rarely a more objective take.

There are a high number of intelligent, rational fans at least on this bored.
So not everyone is yelling shoot during the PP or blaming the goalie for everything, which is a very good thing.

Glass half full, on most days.

That thing with the dentist and college degrees was very ugly though, so maybe half empty too.
