I agree. I know there's been talk of getting rid of the SO. I'm down with that. I'd like to see 4-4 for five minutes then 3-3 for five minutes then end with a tie or something.

that by far was his worst shootout i can recall....his shoot out record over the last 3 years is quite good

I'm not a Sharp fan, but this team needs his offense back. We HAVE to start finishing, putting games away when were killing teams in period 1/2

I will say a couple of things.

1. I'd prefer to have to worry about correcting 3rd period meltdowns than 4-1 beat downs every other night.
2. The PP with a healthy Bossa and Sharp should be a valuable asset in putting teams away. Its no coincidence that the downward slide on the pp started when those 2 got hurt. The difference between a 10th ranked pop and a 20th ranked PP is the difference in games like this.

So the sky is not falling and yes, damn right we like our team!

Indeed. I'd like to see us close out a game comfortably at home for once, since that's what we'll have to do with home ice advantage. Pretty good game even though we got checked out of the building for much of it, we stuck with it and pulled out a point. Toews has been playing like a man possessed the past couple games, so hopefully he keeps it up.

I agree, but he just didn't look good in it tonight.
Just a little worried in the direction his play has been heading lately.

I'm not concerned about the shoot out, they won't be around when the games really matter. What really concerns me is the 3rd period let downs. Hopefully when Sharp returns and both he and Hossa have a couple games under their belt things will be different.

Actually, i care more about the POINT GAINED thanks to Vik's equalizer...but this team has to START taking away TIME AND SPACE from opposition point men.
