Agreed but the 2010 hawks had a lot more physical play , no heavy weight useless goons like Bollig but Buf, Ladd, Brower, all were good fore checkers that caused the opposition to turn the puck over.

I think the Hawks Achilles Heal the past few years has been the third period meltdown and trying to get too cute with passing...especially on the PP. I'd like to just see some more blasts from the point and just putting it on. As cliche as it is, you never know what can happen when you throw the puck at the net.

We don't need hits. Physical play doesn't always necessarily mean hits. Better puck protection when you have it, more assertive in battles for pucks when you don't. Also, with the speed this lineup has it would be dumb to tell them to play physical instead.

You want a bunch of goons go cheer for the bruins. That's not hockey (the bruins specifically), win or lose.

Would be nice to see Bickell get involved in sticking up for teammates. Stalberg has been getting gloved washed all game long.
