Funny you did the same thing earlier. Time to self reflect I think.

two first round picks and two second round picks...Deja vu?

How great would it be if we could flip a couple of roster players and draft picks to land 2 and 3 overall

Mackinnon+Drouin+Armia on this team would be sick!

- Sabresfan-365

Some very nice players at the top of 2014 as well......Ekblad, McKeown, Reinhart, Virtanen, Ritchie and Audette's kid Daniel to name a few.

Love to be lucky enough to take McDavid in 2015

actually I was just repeating what Stripes said to me early. Not so nice is it...

Actually I could have cared less about your grammar until you used a word that many people find offensive on these boards

Now go back to your parents basement or come up with a rational idea for who the team should target so we can go back to discussing hockey since this is a hockey blog

Auto correct on my phone changed a word so he wants to attack my grammar. He is just a little upset that I have intelligent thoughts and the best he can do is try to attack my English. Whatever

Actually, it was a shot at Garth.

No offense intended to you.

With the way he was talking about Grigorenko early in the season, I think he likes having the young guys look up to him and ask him for help with stuff. I think it's a role that he feels comfortable in. I can see him staying for that very reason.
- HonkFortheGoose

that's what I see from him. He seemed to really fit in with the younger guys on his line too. Sometimes you get older players who don't really mesh with young line mates. He is always pointing out guys good points to the media. I'm sure he gives them real perspective and help too but I like that he is a team player. It seems we had a lot of guys within the last few years who were really only out there for themselves.

Those rumors that buffalo was offered a 1st for him seem very believable.

Everyone was talking about MacKinnon a few years ago the same way as people are talking about McDavid now. Now he's not even the consensus #1. A lot can change between now and then.

I agree with this. I think he's a good fit with a young team. I can see him staying.

Bringing in Larsson gives them the time to let Girgensons really develop in Rochester. I think that's the best course of action to take with him. But as long as Darcy is the GM here, I don't think they move Girgensons for a least a few years.
- HonkFortheGoose

Just see it as a little more plausible now that we may have our 3rd line center
Although, if they kept Girgensons at the wing...

We should have traded up for Couturier when he fell.

Vanek for Couturier?

Maybe you should just pick one and do it right instead of half assing 3.

It's possible. Girgensons has been getting time at center now though.

Oh I know....same happened to Couturier. Just if we're gonna do this rebuild thing let's do it right and get some high level picks. A la Chicago and Pitt(not Edmonton). still don't know how Edmonton hasn't pulled it together yet. Maybe if they stopped taking all forwards. They definitely should've drafted Murray instead of yakupov IMO. Or traded down in the 1st but thats neither here nor there. Will be painful to lose for a few years but I think I can get behind kids losing and playing hard over vets losing and playing like they don't give a Sh!t.

That's a lot to give up for a slumping sophomore

I would want more coming back
