Is anyone else a little worried that Armia's #'s arent much better than last years? Looks like he hasn't developed that much over this year. I watched every single World Junior game he was in and looked like a complete stud one shift and then was invisible the next.

I worry about his #'s too because it appears as though his team is one of the better teams in that league. Does anyone here get to watch him at all? I mean I've only seen a handful of games. I'm really hoping he can play in Roch this year after he's done across the pond.

Most of Armia's points came in the 2nd half of the season if memory serves me.

Looks like 13 points in his 1st 22 and 20 in his last 25

Gotcha about Rammer.....it just stands out to me as it was when I really started getting into hockey and remembered it being kinda a big deal that he gave it up

Should be interesting
Darcy again waiting too long to extend a player
Could've done Hodgson before the season
Even if it was just 2years at say 2.8mil like Ennis got
Drives me crazy how little forethought this guy still has
Now he's gonna have to sign Hodgson to a Myers-like deal, and who knows how that'll mess with his head or not?
Ugh, frustrating

But gets creamed for doing the same for Leino.....

Not surprised Stafford wasn't traded.

I can't imagine any playoff-bound team in need of a forward wanting to take a risk on a player who you really don't know what you'll get, but can probably guess.

That's why the return for Pominville was so high - the Wild got possibly the most consistent top 6 forward available at the deadline.

And it's why Stafford is still a Sabre and will probably still be one next year unless he's bought out.

For a guy that is on pace over a full season to have 64-65 points.

4 mil is the going rate.

with the cap going down, GMs will wake up with RFAs and realize teams have the power when negotiating

And my money is on Miller going to whichever playoff team has problems in goal that isn't Detroit.

they should probalby switch out the nashville jersey because obv they're the more sly fox after that horrible capitals trade today. they totally fleeced the 1 guy i wanted most in last years draft from washington (who has nothing for prospects) for two guys that are not worth half of what they traded.

honestly if the caps are stupid enough to entertain offers for ovechkin or backstrom, i hope to poop they do a deal where we don't give them anything useful because i'd feel bad for whatever prospect we'd send.

i don't think a deal is possible where this happens but i'd rather send them a pick they could screw up them a prospect that has feelings and ability and potential. god, talk about squandering riches.

Stafford, gerbe, traded or bought out. Possibly adding a stud d-man or top six forward for miller

Plus add a top 5 pick hopefully and our roster doesn't seem so bad

i really think trading miller before next years' deadline is a mistake. we are going to be picking top 5 again the year after if we're not careful. having a solid goalie while the rest of the team grows is useful.

All depends on where the market is. If a lot of teams want him come draft time and are willing to give up a decent amount, I'm okay with trading him and giving Hackett and Enroth a chance to battle for a starting role. Win or lose it's a win-win long term. You either find out you have a #1 goaltender or you get a good draft pick.

What I really wanted and still want is to get Bernier from LA and have Hackett back him up. Don't know the asking price, but he is an RFA next season and LA might trade his rights come Draft Day.

Wow, Vanek. Hoepfully we can do business with the Wild again in a couple months and send Vanek out there for something like Coyle, Setoguchi, and next year's 1st.
