I wonder if she still has it or sold it. I know she sold a kiss something but not exactly what. Whatever it was she got $100 for it. Apparently didn't want me to know. I'll have to ask her.

He left his feet for every hit.
Peca was a dirty player. - dadeadhead
Peca also never took unsportsmanlike penalties. He was also a top line center, as opposed to a 3rd line agitator. Peca is more Ryan Callahan or Dustin Brown than he is Steve Ott |

Not at all surprising for many reasons
1: feaster is a tool
2: pominville has outproduced last 2 seasons
3: way younger/fresher
4: cheaper contract - robz228

Your want your Captain to represent the team. Pomvinville might have been soft, maybe he wasn't a great leader, but he had class on and off the ice, Ott has class off the ice, but on it he is a dirt ball. Love the game Ott plays, but you don't want that representing your entire team - sbroads24
I guess it depends what you're shooting for. Pegula came here to be bold. Maybe we go that route. I don't think a little bias from the refs is a big enough threat to stop the Sabres if they wanted to do that. Besides its not like were naming Kaleta captain. That would be like spitting on the league. |

Don't get me wrong, I love Ott. But his demeanor will represent the team. I actually would be more worried about him changing the way he plays to be more "captain like" than I would getting calls from the refs. |

Jones and Milbury lose ALL credibility with their pointless comments!Jones is a Joke and Milbury is worse! - chuckeefox
Milbury lost all credibility when he was the Islanders GM. Allowing him to provide commentary on the NHL is as stupid as allowing Matt Millen to comment on the NFL. |

I see a lot of points regarding us having cap room to go after free agents this summer.....problem is there are like zero stud free agents out there
Only name I would consider totally worth going after would be Clarkson from New Jersey but we'd have to severely overpay for a guy having a career year.
We picked a bad year to totally scrap everything and rebuild. If there were a lot of free agents available this could have been an extremely quick re tool process...but its going to take longer now. |
