because we'll lose him when his contract is up. I don't think he stays and if he does end up staying he will want too much. I think he's overpaid as it is right now.

I try not to think too hard about it. I let the info absorb as it wants to. Seems to be working pretty well for me.

Sabres wanted Couturier but if i'm not mistaken Flyers traded up to get him.

I think we can easily get a top 10 pick, and an above average prospect for him. Or a top 5 pick and a mediocre prospect. The only problem is that teams won't be desperate for guys like they are at the deadline...

Darcy thinks the price for just about everything is too steep. But then when someone offers something for one of our guys, it's not enough.

If we start winning even with all of these guys gone, I'm fairly convinced you could ice a CHL team and have a competitive team.

I'm sure we could, but we need young guys to rebuild, and there aren't that many really young proven NHLers. I really wouldn't be opposed to getting Backstrom from WSH but idk...

I thought we played very well last season when the majority of players dressing were from Roch. All those injuries and those "kids" seemed to piece together some great games I enjoyed watching. Kind of hated when guys got healthy enough and we had to send those guys back down.

I don't think the Canucks can afford to keep him. Not at the $6M he's reportedly asking for. Dallas wanted to sign him to an extension and when they heard his demands, they decided to get something for him instead of him just walking.

Minny and Vancouver are both in cap hell after this year.
