Damn! The new guys are killin' it for you. This must ease the worries I've been reading from today's moves... I wish the Devils would get the same kind of lift but sadly they are a sinking ship right now.

Its one game but you can clearly see the complexion of the team has changed. The forecheck, the skill, the physicality. When Clowe went deep on the first shift I thought to myself thats the hardest Ive see a Ranger hit someone all season. Its a different team at least for tonight

Did Brassard show these hands and instincts in Columbus?
- Blueshirts4ever

Yes and no. He has skills no doubt but it seemed to be wasted by playing with lesser talent maybe. You could see the skill and he has a great shot but he doesn't use it enough. He has great hands as we have seen tonight. He just never got it together in Columbus but you can see why he was once a #6 overall pick and why the Rangers obviously liked him so much. But he can frustrate you when he isn't scoring.

But Clowe sucks because he hadn't scored this season. Glad Clowe got two goals tonight. I feel better about liking that deal now.

You know how many Devils fans were running ther mouths about Brodeur having more goals, I guess Marty is gonna have to join the rush more

Great thing about all of us is we are passionate and we love the Rangers. We all have those things in common.

I remember when he first came into the league he looked like a star then he broke his hand in that fight and when he came back he never seemed to get back to that level, still young, still talented.

So outta the last 12 games what do you think their gonna have to go to for the 8 spot? 8-4, or 7-5, something like that?

Ordinarily I change into my Glen Miller persona to answer those questions. It's like I have split personalities but in my case they are both aware of the other. I really do like Columbus though and am glad they got Gabby. He'll fit in real well with Columbus and I think they have a good chance to make the postseason now.

I thought the same thing but didn't want to jinx him. Now you have. Guess Clowe is going scoreless the rest of the way unless we play an outdoor game.

I was thinking that he looked like someone but couldn't put my finger on it. You're totally right though; he does look like Rupp. Unfortunately for him, that's not a great thing...
