Haven't read all of this thread and quite honestly I have no desire to. Anyone that thinks this trade was bad is absolutely mental.

I like this team a lot more than I did two days ago.

I hate when a team in my division trade with the western conference. I know so little about the players in the western conference. I can honestly say, i don't know a damn thing about any one of the players you guys picked up today.

I just mean at 26 he is what he is at this point. Im hoping Torts can squeeze another 10 points per year out of him and make him a 55 pt player. But in reality he will be in the dog house immediately.

I dont get how we added "jam" and "torts players" in the last 24 hours. Brassard is not that player, Dorsett isnt playing. We just added Clowe for that department. Thats all.

- mrhattrick27

In Brassard's defense he's not that much of a slouch. He may not drop the gloves often but he does have over 50 hits this season.

The fact is this resembles more the team that everyone liked last year.

Nash is last year's Gaborik, Clowe is last year's Dubinsky and Dorsett is last year's Prust, when he gets healthy.

Throw in Brassard who is very talented and saved cap space.

Not sure why people are crying about these moves, other than draft picks lost.

Looks like Moore picked up the system pretty quickly of missing the net from shots on the point

After that big hit, had he potted that shot, he would have immediately endeared himself to the crowd.

So you & Torts & the Rangers organization let go FOR FREE Prust, Feds, & Mitchell. Then to get 3 JAM players back, you trade Gaborik, your 2nd best goal scoring talent. It's like you gave him up for FREE also.
GREEEAAAT TRADE!!! Add this to the parts given up for Nash, and see what the result is now for these 2 trades with Columbus. How Torts convinced Sather, I don't know. But then again, you must have been there with them to help them.

Let's see how long it takes you to change your mind here about Gaborik under a normal coaching staff! You loved Torts so much because you also don't know that you can't win games without putting the puck into the opposition's net. Keep on putting that JAM on the L.I.E, MEADOWBROOK, and dare I say Hempstead Turnpike; because with your's and Tortie's jam system; you'll both never win; unless you go to the Coliseum where the jam will be to get to.!

You can stop anytime now, we get it.. You dont like the trade you want torts fired.noted

I liked the trade, it cleared cap space to sign a guy like McD whom i never wanna see wear another uniform.
