It's not as simple as "pay him"
Why would he stay here when he could go play for someone like Chicago or Pitt when he becomes a free agent?

I still see us buying out Leino, maybe not this offseason, but I think it'll eventually happen
He's an ok player, but can't stay healthy, and we'll likely want the cap room at some point
I don't see him being any better than a guy like Tropp who'll cost at least 3mil less

I'm def interested to see if he uses these picks or trades them for roster players
And it'll also be telling what type of return we get if we do trade more guys in the offseason
