Maybe game shape wise. I saw his first and only game and he was the best player on the team. In spite of his injury, he was pretty darn good in the one recent game I saw. He will be on this team for sure next year if not sooner. Be careful, cowmad is lurking. - sippyd
I edited it. I meant game shape/knee strength wise. |

what time did they get back in town? - homiedclown
Its a 45 minute flight to Buffalo so they probably landed at 11:30-12ish. Bars are open here until 4 I've run into players out after road games before |

so
we did not move staff or hecht, I really expected them to get moved
for the pommer deal, nice return
looks like miller will be giving darcy his list of teams in a few months
aside from hecht, all of the ufa's got moved at the deadline, assuming nobody was interested in pardy
I give Darcy a B+ on the past few days
team is making the moves for a rebuild
move 2/3 from staff, vanek and miller this off season and we will finally turn the corner that should have been turned when briere and drury walked
if darcy gets canned this summer, the new gm will be set up for success - homiedclown
B+ is fair
Im guesisng nobody really wanted Hecht.
I'm still tryin to get to the bottom of the Stafford saga. |

There was an interview of Larrson with Houston. They asked him what he liked, he said the hot weather.... Welcome to Buffalo. |

Bishop being traded to Tampa hurt the goalie market I think. There are 2 big name goals going to be on the market and 1 good named goalie. Luongo and Miller plus Mike Smith unless he resigns. Not to mention Backstrom from Minnesota.
I'd look for Washington, Philly, Islanders and Devils to be pushing hard for a goalie, not to mention Edmonton.
If they can work out a Miller for top 10 pick do it depending on if you could get a gap goalie like Smith to take a 2-3 year deal contract not more than 4.5 mil per season. - Stripes77
Jimmy Howard, Nabakov, Tim Thomas, and Theodore could be seen as reliable? |

devils, islanders, wild, yotes, panthers, flames, flyers, caps
there is 8 teams right there
that is not taking into account the teams that may kick the tire on miller (red wings)
safe to say blue jackets and jets would be on millers list so there will be options this summer |

Howard will stay in Detroit i think. Nabakov is 40 Tim Thomas is a nut case Theodore could be a possible target but he is getting up there in age as well |

I think that between Sulzer and Pardy we should keep one of them.. and since Sulzer is coming off of an ACL injury.. I think I like Pardy if his cost was cut in half.. they both should be no more costly than 1M or so...

Anything I have seen that makes sense is that there was a three team deal with multiple players being moved. Something had to have fallen apart for this trade to have been considered "fairly significant" at one point. |

He started scoring this year when he was traded. He is getting more minutes thus finding the back of the net more. He will need time in Rochester to improve his skating, but he is a 3rd or 4th line center based on the team he is on. He is playing the 2nd line now in juniors |

Won't be long. His skating was really good but not quite yet his usual "beast mode" like his first game.
