2 different things, Iginla had to be traded Pominville didn't have to. They took the what they wanted as i'm sure our sorry ass GM did the same thing. That deal doesn't help this team at all.

If his injury set him back at all, this will just give him more competition... which is great when developing young guys. Bring in the youth, train em, and in 3 years we'll be decent again. Or we'll trade them all away for higher draft picks this year, and then we'll be 5 years away from a decent team. This is rebuilding, and we'd all better get used to it.

It does in the sense that they're moving on. This whole culture is stale and needs a change, and Pominville is a big part of it, whether he was the advocate or not.

We just trade for a goalie that has a lower ranking then a goalie we have in the minor's.
