Win now vs future.
It's like when Dallas traded a young Iggy for Niewendyk. - Ben37
I love it, I like everyone Shero has picked up. It will be really interesting to watch Ray juggle all the stars and contracts to keep this team stacked.
In the back of my mind I can't help but think Tanger might be how we get back the 1st round pick + some more. Especially if 58 wants the big coin on his next contract.
Cup first, worry about 2013/14 Penguins later. |

We are just hoping that some day you'll see the light and complete your long journey over from the dark side.
Besides, he hasn't been here long enough to have the right to be a douche to you yet. That fun is reserved for vets like me. |

Don't be surprised if some of those guys get moved before the draft. I wouldn't mind seeing Bortuzzo instead of Eng tonight......or soon.

Honestly, if they pan out, guys like Michael Latta and Tom Wilson could make playing against the Capitals, a pretty tough battle. |

Just what the Caps need, to unload a long sought after Center prospect. I suppose this means a Ribeiro extension is imminent. Don't like the trade at all - unless Crosby is out of the playoffs, they aren't winning this season. |

MadCap, I didn't think this was a bad trade at all. You got Erat (a hard working+scoring player) and Latta. I still believe Kuznetsov is the real deal. Bring him to the NHL! |

Wow
The official Pominville deal:
To Minny: Pominville 4th in 2014
To Buff: Larsson, Hackett, 1st in 2013, 2nd in 2014 - cap1681
That is a great deal for both sides. At first, it was reported Pominville for the two prospects, which would have been a joke. |
