Yeah that's a good hockey trade, Tampa getting Bishop not so much. - nbartley9
I think that is a panic trade by Tampa. Bishop has been good for the Sens, but Lindback was good for Nashville last season as a backup. Murray did a good job on that trade. Got some offensive depth to join Spezza, Alfie, Turris, Karlsson and the emerging Zibanijad. |

Wow, BJs are active. Just acquired Blake Comeau - cap1681
We'll get to see him get smeared by someone like Joe Vitale and have to deal Blue Jacket fans screaming about how dirty it was ala Islander fans. |

I believe anything when I see it. TSN has been selling Luongo (and Kiprusoff) hardcore to Toronto for the past week. |

As I look at it again I really don't think the Tampa deal was as bad as some are making it out to be (yet). How many young players have great rookie years then not much after that? They are in need of a goalie because Lindback hasn't worked out so they went after Bishop. This may prove to be one sided now but there are no guarantees with 2 young players like this. Bishop may become their franchise goaltender. |

Torres to SJ - nbartley9
On other notes..
Crosby averaging 1.6 ppg and he does that half retarded sometimes. Of course I am not comparing Giroux and Crosby. That's like comparing Bossy and Loob.

Yeah because Glass is such a HUGE part of our pentalty kill! Sorry, but you're wrong again...that's two thus far shooter.
If I had to list our top 4 PK fowards, Glass wouldn't be one of them. I would say Cooke, Adams, Dupuis, and Sutter without question. Glass didn't come as advertised and has not performed the role he was brought in here to perform. No chance he starts over TK. No chance in hell. - Killian
Then perhaps you can explain how Glass averages 1:26 SHTOI/G? He's not top 4 on the team, but no one relies on only 4 forwards to kill penalties.
Shero hasn't gone out and made moves to replace Glass. He must be doing something management expected of him. It's telling that on the day after they watched TK center a line they went out and picked up someone who will likely come in and assume that roll.
TK is a decent 3rd/4th line player. But he's one dimensional..he's an energy guy who scores the random goal. He simply may not have a steady spot in the line up when everyone is healthy, no matter how much you dislike Glass. |

How about Engelland or Bortuzzo (pick one)? What do we do with him? - Orpik44
Bortuzzo still has upside. I wouldn't part with him without solid return. |

So I'm currently on a road trip from Fl to Il and I've been listening to the NHL network radio.
So, jokinen to the pens? It's not bad if he can play center and if the canes take half the salary. Also good reassurance in case Kennedy is traded/doesn't resign.
Gaborik to the BJs for brassard, Dorsett and Moore. I think the BJs got boned. So gaborik/Dubinsky/anisimov/1st for nash/brassard/Dorsett/Moore. |

I feel the complete opposite. The Bluejackets got pieces that help them. The Rangers don't have a gameplan at all.
Last in goals per game and trade one of their few offensively gifted players. But they sure got "tough"!
Should have been Torts out the door not Gaborik. |
