I guess so. Lol. If anyone goes of course I'd love it to be Boyes. I don't think anyone has any interest in reasoner even for a seventh? I'm guessing if anyone went it'd be streit or Boyes? Wouldn't be surprised if nothing happened. Can't be too pissed off about it. They've been playing well. With that said I'd love to see garf add a decent player but I'm not expecting.

Slow all around today with trades. It's like pulling teeth trying to make a meaningful trade with these GM's. GM all think they are going to trade the next Crosby away.

I dunno. I wouldn't relate it to just the Rangers but any of the teams in direct competition for that final playoff spot. If it appears that the Isles just needed a slight extra something and didn't try to do so, it ends up coming off as though they missed the playoffs due to a lack of managerial effort.

I don't think Snow would be motivated by that concern at all, and he probably shouldn't be. I'm just anticipating the obvious questions that would arise in such an event.

again, rangers or anyone else, the questions should be asked TODAY not when the when the season is over...any idiot (not anyone specific) can question something that already happened...

12:34 pm: A source tells Islanders Point Blank “no chance” the Saad trade happens.

Capuano says there's a good chance we'll see Joensuu tomorrow against WSH but no lineup is set

Ugh, Why? Unless he is gonna sit Boyes, its a useless move.

So do i. I find it so funny how fans love trades to the point That we just want to see one to see one. I'm guilty of it myself

Anders lee will sit. I know he scored a goal but he looked pretty lost out there and they don't want to burn a year of his ELC

I have a funny feeling when we see joensuu were going to realize we have the second coming of Boyes with less points but bigger tits of course

I hate to see Lee have to sit but does he eat up one year if he plays more than 6 games?

You can take it with a grain of salt but according to Gallof, Lee will be in the lineup for the rest of the year...

They are probably gonna sit Aucoin if Joensuu is gonna play which makes no sense... Aucoin has been playing much better and has good chemistry with that line.

Trades add excitement. It's funny some of these GM do not want to trade because they are so afraid of trading the next star. They end up getting fired because their teams go nowhere. You have to make bold moves sometimes.

Nope..more likely he sits Lee....if he plays 6 games or less I think his ELC contract doesn't kick in...Could be wrong, but I'm guessing we'll see Lee play every other game with Joensuu getting time as well.

He def needs to improve his skating and positioning. I know its his first game bit we can't have a rookie (frank) up leading to a loss right now. Some first game for the kid and his family though

Today, tomorrow, next week, 5 years from now. Doesn't matter. IF the Isles miss the playoffs, some will inevitably point to the GM not trying to help the team at the deadline. Happens everywhere but it would be magnified here due to there already being a fair amount of folks who aren't confident in Garth. Not saying it's right or wrong, simply likely.

That would be interesting since we have one center too many here. I'd much prefer having Cizikas back at center with mayble Martin and Lee rather than Aucoin and Cizikas on someone's wing.

Here's the Gallof tweet I mentioned before...

B.D. Gallof ‏@BDGallof Expect a quiet trade deadline for #isles - expect Anders Lee to play bottom 6 rest of season. Reasoner shopped

So we will see what happens...

GM's make the big bucks to make the tough decisions on to trade or not. EK has the Isles and Pens in on Yandle. If the Pens get him I'm going to flip out

@StapeNewsday: Source says #Isles are trying to land Hawks rookie Brandon Saad. Cost is high, clearly, but Snow is interested.

Trade KO straight up. Maybe a change would do them both some good.
