Maybe KO can go in the package? I would think Chiacgo would want Steit? I'd rather not give up a Nino or Nelson type. - ses111
Streit was my first thought as I thought it was said that Chicago may be interested in him at some point. Maybe Boyes can get thrown in there! |

I'm fine with it. I would love the idea of another big forward. Going to need big forwards with teams like Boston. I would love to add Saad or Bishop today. |

I would be very surprised if the Blackhawks traded him. |

At least they are legitimately trying. Seems very different around here the last 7 days. |

Very True. It has been nice but adding a good player today would make it even better. |

Like Keaner mentioned in the last thread the Rangers may be looking to add a dman. That would be two pieces a big rival adds and it's a big risk if the Isles add no players and they miss the playoffs. - ses111
i may be in the minority but i dont think what the rangers do should have ANY impact on what the islanders do...even if the rangers get their Dman and clowe and isles end up doing nothing and missing the playoffs, i dont think garth will have to explain himself for that. |

I really don't want to see Frans go, thats all I know..... he has too many good qualities and uses I beleive. No he doesn't light the lamp but we would be a worse team without him. Especially with the chemistry with Bailey and KO...his PK skills etc. |

if the rangers get whitney who cares.. the rangers can't score..the devils are a mess..we are playing better than both of these teams |

Let's be honest Garth never has to explain himself. The Rangers are a division and playoff rival so it does matter what they do. |

I dunno. I wouldn't relate it to just the Rangers but any of the teams in direct competition for that final playoff spot. If it appears that the Isles just needed a slight extra something and didn't try to do so, it ends up coming off as though they missed the playoffs due to a lack of managerial effort.
I don't think Snow would be motivated by that concern at all, and he probably shouldn't be. I'm just anticipating the obvious questions that would arise in such an event. |

I guess so. Lol. If anyone goes of course I'd love it to be Boyes. I don't think anyone has any interest in reasoner even for a seventh? I'm guessing if anyone went it'd be streit or Boyes? Wouldn't be surprised if nothing happened. Can't be too pissed off about it. They've been playing well. With that said I'd love to see garf add a decent player but I'm not expecting. |
