They're making Clowe look like a God.

I don't know, maybe making 650 trades on a team that was already firing on all cylinders and in the middle of an amazing run wasn't the smartest thing after all. I'm sure they'll figure it out again once they settle down and have a chance to play together more, but they look extremely disorganized in this game...beyond just not having Crosby.

They need to separate Malkin and Iginla but won't.! This team looked awful against Buffalo and worse now. It's a post streak collapse!

The only thing that concerns me today is that Streit is still an Islander and Unsigned.

I'd hate to go thru ANOTHER summer wondering why we got nothing AT ALL at the Trade Deadline if Streit refuses to sign an extension.

Signing Padan Sending him to the Bridge.

Lee taking shifts with the Isles

Strome playing @ Bridgeport

Strome playing wing!

Isles acting and playing like men who want it bad! Priceless!

********************************************************

Seems like the Rangers paid a price to add toughness to their lineup. Especially when you consider the not to long ago the has Rupp, Scott, Dubinsky and Prust.

What are you spiking your kool-Aid with or are the Ice Girls pouring it down your throat for you in a low-cut top?

Have you followed the team this year? Last year? A perfect model of inconsistency. At times/areas, they've looked very good. Other times, especially in the third period, they've looked like the Bad News Bears. Lee & Casey are already here. You're saying you wouldn't swap Nino for Reasoner for 11 games? Maybe we get to see how much he's developed and can determine if he's worth keeping or trading over the summer....but again, this is Garth's Isles, where the motto is, "We don't make trades...we have chemistry on our side and every draft pick will be an nhl player."

We've been fed a pile of crap from Garth for too long now. When we miss the playoffs again, maybe some of you believers will finally realize what the real problem is.

Spot on.....

every team helped themselves regardless of their position, Isles need help and do nothing .......

Interesting....

At Bridgeport on Strome's line, they have Nelson at center and Strome on the wing.

- Bags502

I'm the only one here that said they will turn Strome into W
everyone said he's more valuable at C, but with Brock, Sundstrom who are C, we have to much depth, plus either Strome or Nino will play on Tavares wing....

Yeah, and Clowe isn't as good as Prust, either. They are fired up tonight, playing on adrenaline. Over time, though, I think you'll see they made a team with no offense actually worse.

PS- Pittsburgh's defense looks like they're getting ready for the playoffs now .

We've won 5 out of our last 6 without absurd line/roster shuffling. Why don't you try relaxing and enjoying talking about playoffs instead of arguing over MacKinnon or Jones. Even if we just miss the playoffs, it's an improvement over years past. You'd think we were in dead last the way you talk.

I think, in the end, that two teams truly helped themselves: Columbus and Minnesota. The rest rearranged the deck chairs on the Titanic, especially Philadelphia. That said, even if these moves really do help the rag$, they aren't who I'm really concerned with anyway- NJ is a lot easier target this year, IMO, as is whoever ends up second in the Southeast. Those teams are the ones they need to pass and stay ahead of- if they do that, they'll be in the dance, and I think they are better than any of those teams already, without having done anything today.

In school all day today, so I missed the whole trade day. So the main day is the Isles did nothing as per usual and the Rags traded their "God" of a player for players from CBj. Clowe scored two goals and now the Rangers are thinking about the cup? Oh and Clowe is the new superstar of New York?

well isnt that classic ranger fans? what i always love is how the all run out and get the same jersey of the new guy that they think is the greatest.

First it was Avery, then it was Gaborik, then Richards, then Nash. Can wait till i see the First CLOWE jersey like he sidney crosby lost twin brother.

What annoys me is half the "Ranger fans" on my facebook page could careless about hockey. Now they are experts on the Rangers. It is funny and sad at the same time.

Nothing wrong with enjoying hockey, you should try it sometime and not concern yourself with others.
