Comparing kipper to toskala may be the dumbest thing I've seen you do. Reimer has a very weak glove and five hole. Sorry if I don't have faith in a goalie that has never played a full season or a playoff game and who loses more games for the leafs than he wins. - Arctic_AARDVARK

You can't have faith in a goalie that hasn't played a playoff game, yet you won't allow him in a playoff game?

I dont care if kipper won vezina's 8 years in a row. If he is does poop this year and close to retiring what the hell is the point if his sv% is worse then toskala's EVER was? THat is like saying, hey lets bring in hasek because he was damn good before but he blows chunks now, maybe he will go back to form |

What has Reimer done that was so spectacular? He never steals games and Scrivens had the same stats.. The guy is injury prone and the book is out on his weak spots. |

Well, he's right. Reimer is unproven and not has no playoff experience. A veteran would be perfect who is proven. Nothing at all wrong with a short term solution. That way, if we make the playoffs next year, Reimer will be in the exact same boat, and we can go out and pay for another short term veteran. Or we could do something stupid and over pay to keep the first veteran we got. |

This wouldn't have been except for the surprsing development of actually making the playoffs -- nobody knows what to do |

How many if those wins were you like, whoa Reimer really stole that game? A few.. How many times has Reimer lost games due to poor rebound control, poor glove, and awful five hole? Plenty |
