ok so mckegg can play C in the OHL - connolly is impact for sure - we will toss in hamilton and were all set.

Completely agree... I think he is very solid... but he could also be the product of a very defensive system. Smooth skater and makes good decisions.. but is not worth the salary let alone THAT price tag to acquire him

If we didn't have Phaneuf already and Gards/Rielly in the pipeline, then you consider it. Franson is putting up points and I still like Liles. But right now, I think we need to think cheap and not taking on any more term/salary. Leafs dont have as much cap space as many people think...

Comparing kipper to toskala may be the dumbest thing I've seen you do. Reimer has a very weak glove and five hole. Sorry if I don't have faith in a goalie that has never played a full season or a playoff game and who loses more games for the leafs than he wins.
