If you've watched a dozen games or so you're opinion has some merit. Often guys make sweeping statements like you just did without having seen a single game.

little risk in the move. if he's effective he'll play, if not, someone else will step in. we tend to anaylyze these moves more than the GMs who make the trade do.

Seriously. You want to prove Vancouver wrong would you go to a weak defensive team like the Leafs?

O'Bryne has been all overe the map this season, has played well some nights and some nights he has been the worst player on the ice.

If you keep him off the PK, is notorious for bad clearign attempt turn overs leading to a goal, and pair him with someone who can move the puck, he should be fine.

Hes the worst when he is trying too hard to be a "shut down guy", leads to him being out of position and he is not fast enough to recover

He is a pure set up man.
A natural of turning the puck over in his own zone which leads to a goal, especially on the PK
