How so? It's a fact. Everyone has a price. - honesthockey
Sure, but you don't just pay the price because that's what it is. If it's too much then you pass. Is it worth fixing a glaring weakness if it just creates a whole bunch of new weaknesses? |

-7 over last 6 games... wasn't too bad prior to that. - Big_Lightnin
Probably what pushed them to a trade. |

Yeah really, isn't it that simple? You decide what you need and then you just tell other teams to trade them to you. That's how it works, right? - Jeffmt
I don't know if you've had the cheesy chicken fajitas at Moxie's, but if you have, you'd know that it makes any trade possible. |

I love that gillis runs the Canucks..
What a (frank)ing meathead.
Only way it could be better is if he was the habs GM. |

Franson may be moving in to the top 4 where he should be. - StanleyCupDreams
I'm not sure Franson belongs in the top 4 just yet.
I like that he's been playing well in his current role, but to see him as a 18-20 minute dman for a full 82 games might be too much.
His offensive side has picked up, but he's still way too soft for a guy that big. |

reporter: Luongo said his contract sucks and if he could rip it up right now he would - what do you think about that?
EDIT: - some chick just asked if he actually can rip up his contract |

Of course. It's a balancing act. But been hearing for 3 years that we need a 1c, we need a 1c, we need a 1c. Such a glaring weakness that had to be addressed.

I'll leave you all to your opinions....when I see O'Byrne, I see a pooptier almost as expensive version of Komisarek, and if I had a choice between them, I'd rather go with Komisarek. And I predict by Sunday, he'll be your new whipping boy, so much so that you'll be begging for Jake Gardiner to be back in the lineup. Rip away folks. |

He's emotional.
It has nothing to do with being stuck in a hockey poophole that's pulling his career down the drain.
They (frank)ed this up from the start. Should have kept their 'franchise player' gave him all the confidence in the world, and traded the younger, unproven.. Much more tradeable goaltender instead. |

Yup, that's how difficult it is to get one. There are a lot of teams in the league who would love to get a true #1 center. |
