IM SO STARTLED

I don’t really get the need for O’Byrne. Don’t we have too many third pairing marginal Dmen as it is? Isn’t the blue line a bit crowded already? Wasn’t Gardiner playing for the Marlies for a huge portion of the season? (granted, different type of Dman).

Kostka and Holzer are not cutting it imo.. probably a slight upgrade, hopefully more than that. Big guy, not sure is he uses it, i assume so, as i imagine RC was talked to about adding a guy like him.

They pick apart Rask like his save % and gaa is under 9 and over 3. Trying to compare Khudobin and Rask to the Halak and Price situation

That's the frightening part...have you seen O'Byrne play? From what I've seen, he's nothing more than a bottom pairing guy. Hey if he fits and works for Carlyle great, but I'm not sure he's much better than Komisarek.
