Unless the Coyotes are willing to pay him in trident gum (and obtain such a sponsorship deal), then they have a responsibility to cut costs. I know that there's cost sharing, yadda yadda yadda, but thats not to say that there isn't a package for him that doesn't harm the team too much going forward while making much more financial sense.
