It's not a bad choice, nothing against Bishop, but he pretty much just gave up on Lindback, if anything Yzerman should be in selling mode, acquiring picks. By acquiring Bishop he just made his team pick later in the draft...

They already have a few great major pieces though. Franchise center. Big top pairing dman.

If Bishop turns out good, the rest of the build can be done more easily. They've got their franchise player. Couple of them actually. Supporting cast is the problem.

Not a bad tandem, but still, not necessary at this point, just took away their draft position. Should clearly be in selling mode. They give up one of their best young players in Conacher, when they should be trading away St. Louis, Malone, Le Cavalier, brewer....terrible GM.
