He would cost too much to acquire, doesn't really want to play (except for the cash), and is absolutely brutal this year with a 6 million dollar cap hit.

And if he decides not to retire this year or we extend him - *shudder* - Scrivens is definitely out the door.

Reimer may be next.

Has probably the worst glove hand of any NHL goalie.

If we can get Kipper or Lu for virtually nothing then it is a no brainer.

For me it has nothing to do with playoff experience. Reimer has shown time and again that he does not have an big league glove hand. Have the Leafs won with them this year, yes. They've won despite their goaltending. Has alot to do with the leafs offense.
