I'm kinda shocked no one has dealt for him. Cheap, plays 22+ a night, and is fairly aggressive for a small frenchman.

Who knows what they are doing. At 36 it might be time to get something for him. Then again they could just go out and sign 3 UFA's this year and battle for most the year only to unload players again at next year's TDD.

Well go through their depth charts, I picked a bunch guys who have a history of being effective/serviceable and/or would be dirt cheap.

Patience man. To make a stupid move now would cripple the progress. They will only make a move if it is an upgrade over what we have now and if the price is reasonable. From what I've seen so far, neither of those are occuring. People are trying t dump scraps, UFA's, and salary dumps for ridiculous prices. I like Tambo's cautious approach right now.

The prospect cupboards are still pretty bare. And if you dont think Tambo is listening to deals for the first you are crazy. Of course they are listening, but there just isnt much quality available at reasonable prices. Thats what fans often cant get through their thick skulls. The Oil rebuild is taking as long as it is because they drafted so poorly for years. You cant trade a first overall for just anything. The time to trade picks and prospects is when you are ready for a CUP run. Ala Pitt, Boston, LA...

The Oil are not at that point yet.
