Ryan Jones is a guy that is good 15 goals and works hard. Struggled early on as he almost went blind, but is playing well as of late.

What I want is someone better that drops him to the 4th line. At the same time if the right deal came around I would move him.

As for potential guys; Chimera, Ward, Talbot amongst others would be nice.

It was mentioned on twitter by Tencer(?) that we did inquire on Talbot. Even though he is gone for most of the season if not all, I'd still try get him.

The team is is on the brink of a playoff spot. They have shown they can make a real run at securing one. Plans change and if this team has a chance to get playoff experience now, why not shave off some excess weight and give it a try. No use going through another draft of potential prospects that will mature in 4 years if the team is ready now. They might not make it past the first round but that is significant for this young club.

Tamb just says we are rebuilding so he can lose and everyone will say "that was the plan." It's always the plan.

Patience man. To make a stupid move now would cripple the progress. They will only make a move if it is an upgrade over what we have now and if the price is reasonable. From what I've seen so far, neither of those are occuring. People are trying t dump scraps, UFA's, and salary dumps for ridiculous prices. I like Tambo's cautious approach right now.

Goaltender is about 10th on the priority list, and Luongo is about 10th on the goaltender list, so I'd put him next to hiring Mike Rice in terms of things the Oilers ought to do today.

I suspect with two 4th liners gone that we could see some depth deals now. PHI had early waiver priority, could've been a couple teams in on Hall that now go to plan B.
