There defense goaltending and size kills us. We might have a little more skill but that's it.

I think we have. Hall and PRV are playing some of their best hockey as pros. RNH has been making a lot of sick passes as of late. Whitney offensively looks a lot better then he did early on. Dubnyk is playing well.

We get Hemmer, Yak and Schultz going and look out. Heck even Gagner has been in a slump the past 8 games or so.

Still not enough to get us over our playoff drought this year. As of next year we are gonna be mentioned in the same breath as the leafs. By that I mean no playoffs for 7 or 8 years.

There size guys are a lot better then smithson lol. We don't play them your absolutely rite, but they got better and will win more games then we will the rest of the way out.

The thing is who comes out for smithson to come in and he had better be in lots. Heres how i do it.

We've got size, we've got grit, we've got scoring depth, we've gottalented top line scorers.Is it good enough to make the playoffs i have no idea but this i do know we've got us a big center for the third or fourth line thats probably one of the better fourth line guys we've had in years. Maybe that don't soud like much but that fourth line is just as importaint as your top line. Look at boston they rely on their fourthline just as much as they do on their top line and if you look at teams that win the cup those bottom two lines work hard every shift and suddenly we've got guys who will do that. WE're getting there slowly but we're getting there. It was nice to be a buyer for once and not be selling even if we don't make it we've come a long way. Now lets kick the flames ass.

Not such a bad thing...depending on the prospect. It's not like Forsberg has to make the team in the fall if we resign Gags, we can bring him in slowly. Is there a better deal out there for Hemmer? I think he is a huge upgrade over Erat that Washington missed out on.
