Clowe picked where he was going. Pomminville also submitted a list of teams. I would not want gaborik. Doesnt fill a need. We were apparently runner up on Bishop. With what Ottawa got back I think we would have had to offer up MPS plus a pick at least. That would have been a steep price.

The only deal I saw go down that I would have liked Tambo to do was Torres for a 3rd.

I don't want Tambs to simply make a trade for the sake of making a trade. I want want him to evaluate the team's biggest needs and fix it by whatever means he can. And it is my personal opinion that Goalie is a loooow need compared to some of the other holes on our roster.

It's like they just made the deal to have a better shot at sucking and had to get a deal done.

With that being said sometimes getting actual prospects is better then getting that 1st rounder

That is where our opinion differs. I think the goal tending consistency is our largest gap. We don't have a top 30 goalie unless habby is having a good game.
