I just want to .... ....great move by our crosstown rivals...unload a horrible contract and get back 3 good pieces and one might turn to be really good (Moore)...reminds me of the Gomez trade they made with Montreal....

CBJ definitely got the better deal for Nash.

The Buffalo deal for Pominville is a way better hockey deal for both sides. NYR essentially dumped salary for roster players.

Similar trade for NYR to when they traded Gomez to MTL.

yes but Brassard is a good player, still very young(25) and could become a #2 center for the Rangers. Dorsett(26) is a gritty RW'er who could put the puck in the net (he's like Clarkson was 2yrs ago) and a once-high ranked prospect John Moore(22) who still could become a very good defenseman. Now Gabby(31) is a sniper but is getting older and slowing down(has an injury history also) and makes 7.5mil....the Rangers were almost capped out but now they have room to add other pieces.

Brassard is terrible. Can't play defense can't play offense can't do anything. Rangers have Richards and Stepan. No way Brassard is in new york much longer.

Dorsett is grit which the Rangers need. Still not enough of a player for Gaborik.

Moore is a good defensive prospect but not even Columbus's best.

Pure salary dump move.
