Zid has a no trade clause, but anyways I dont see him getting moved.

I wouldnt.mind taking a flyer on burmi things is it would be for less then what the jets would want

i'd rather not lose Zidlicky. one of our D that can fire the puck pretty well and does create some chances. Heck he even dove on the ice to keep the puck in the zone last game. I know he takes some penalties and makes mistakes, but all our D does that and he's been better as of late. With Tallinder and Volchenkov, Harrold and Fayne.. we're really going to shop Zidlicky? yeesh.

If that's the case then Pommer might be the guy! Buff is looking for at least a #1 for him. Not sure how many other scorers out there right now but knowing Lou it will be somebody on NOBODY'S radar

I don't want Burmi. i want a winger that can score, and has experience doing it. I know Burmistrov is young, has wheels and skill. That's great, we have that in Lokti. We want to win a Cup, not rebuild a team. Kovy needs a legit LW.

Why wouldn't Buffalo want Tallinder back? He was great with Meyers and Meyers had his best season paired with Tallinder. Buffalo would be a great trading partner. Tallinder+1st+Tedenby for Vanek, make it a 2nd for Pominville.

Some penalties? I believe he's the most penalized player outside of Clarkson & Barch, and Zids doesn't fight.

He's probably our best "offensive" defenseman, but I'll stick to my reasoning for not wanting him in NJ in the first place, he's a slightly better MA Bergeron.

Our two best puck movers are Brodeur & Larsson. And one is always on the bench.

If he brought back Pominville or Vanek I'd be happy haha. Tallinder just makes so much sense for both teams tho. He's playing against bottom 6 competition, not all that trusted, healthy scratch here.. and was great in Buffalo with Meyers, and Meyers hasn't been the same without him. why isn't a deal happening.

1. Forfeit the 1st rounder this year, which is unlikely since the draft is in NJ if i'm not mistaken
2. Forfeit the 1st rounder next year, which is the last year to do so & seems the most likely scenario.

So, therefore, why would Lou trade a 1st rounder unless it's for the 2015 draft? So...why?

Essentialy if he trades a 1st rounder from this upcoming draft or the next one, he will have to forfeit the other, so NJ won't have a 1st rounder until 2015.
