I seriously think we need to stop worrying about defense for once we could have a 100 + point guy in kovy but we made him a 70- 80 point guy we have enough guys that are good defensively cause thats all we have ever gotten and worry about just gettig a pure offensive threat and not try to change them put him on a line with defensive forwards

70-80pts is plenty if the rest of the team isn't a handful of role players
I don't mind Kovy not being a 100pt player. If you have another top player or at least a few 60 pt guys, its ok. .. but he disappeared and all our 20-30 goal scorers don't score goals anymore.

You're right, but if you get 50 points and you're a -29 (which is about his pace right now), you utterly suck on defense as opposed to if you get 20 points and you're even. And you're paying 6+M for to lose games 5-3 instead of 2-1.

And the Devils motto is essentially "we'd rather win boring games than lose exciting ones"...

Not this years i really want ys to finally stock pile with offensive prispects fill the cupboards no one knows what will happen when marty patty and lou are gone and i want a smooth transition we are thin up front we never replaces parise we dont have an innediate replacement for marty and i dont think we have a guy ready for when patty leaves do the lines with marty gone patty gone they dont look to good at all

yes.. but Vanek is 26. top line LW for Kovy. nice Elias replacement.

I hope they don't do that to Boucher if/when he comes up.

I hate when we wannt put henrique in the thirs line centre slot if anything zajac should be there or move adam to the wing no way should he be on the third line and everyone seems to want to put zajac a head of him he hasnt done to much to prove he is better right now
