I hope we don't move him. He runs our powerplay and he is one of the best puck moving D-men in the league. He carries this team more then people realize. And I can't see us getting fair value for him.

Will be a LOOOONG time til the Panthers move. The city is greenlighting a lease with them virtually for any length of time. The arena is right next to a huge shopping mall which only helps the city with exposure. The team makes money every year (yes, losing is more profitable in almost every pro sport), they are going to be in a division with BIG draws for South Florida. Plus, if the city of Sunrise approves the casino they want to build on the plot of land due north of the arena, they will never move.

He is a solid defensive D-man he is a late bloomer. Can log lots of mins but he won't put up many points has a decent shot thou. He reminds me a lot of Jason Garrison but without the big shot, but I think he is a better skater. IMO

we brought him up through the AHL kinda like Garrison, but not even close to as talented. On any good team he is a 3rd line D-man IMO. He can move the puck pretty good, has a decent shot and is real physical which i think is the best part of his game.

Tallon might not do a thing. It would make sense to deal Smithson for a late pick or prospect because they aren't stupid enough to resign this guy with the youth coming up. It's almost a lock that Smithson is gone.
