There is no message. Its a business and its all part of the process. Clearly the Sabres are entertaining a legit rebuild for the first time in a long time. I don't think its a big deal that the GM is trying to get all of his ducks in a row in case the right kind of deal is offered his way.

IMO I think there's offers that have been presented to Darcy that he is going to take. It's been reported that Dan Boyle and Derek Morris submitted their 8 times prior to the start of the season, why wasn't this done with Pominville and Miller? The fact that Pominville just submitted his list speaks that there are serious offers. I know it's a business but the Sabres wouldn't be going through this process if he wasn't going to be traded, all my opinion of course.

I said at the beginning of the year that Weber was not great but still had improved.
People forgot that Weber was still a young man as well and still had room to grow.
