Correct. Cincy did very well with 2 minor league teams ducks left cyclones big

Iw as envolved with the college side down there and it is growing very fast. Plus you have the major boys in THE and J Crew U who have top flight teams

Ohio will always be a football state first. College Hockey will never take off in the United States like College Football and Basketball has.

Not really but ok. Weber is viewed differently than Myers. Myers is expected to be a number 1 defenseman that scores, weber is a 5th defenseman who is expected not to be a liability, two different roles
- sbroads24

Exactly. When you have issues (like you said in your previous post) is when your 5th 6th dman has outplayed your alleged #1 pairing guy all year long with a mammoth contract.
Not enough credit given to Weber and Myers is or was given too much in my opinion. Myers still gets through and still lives off of and got his contract off of his 1st year in the NHL.

ALexander Barkov

The youngest player (16) to ever score a point in the Finnish SM-liiga league. His father was a Spartak Russian hockey boy, who married a Finn. A patient player who is strong on the puck, and is confident he can hold on the biscuit while surveying options, and then surprise with excellent passes to the open attacker. Possesses tremendous hands and vision. He is working on his skating and speed, but has excellent balance and ability to handle the puck at his top speed.

When I first glanced at the Finnish roster in Lake Placid and saw the Barkov name I instantly thought where is the Russian tie. Supposedly his dad competed internationally and his mother played on the Russian national basketball team, so you know where the athleticism stems from. He is already a good-sized center man at 6’2” 205 lbs. as he is actually two weeks shy of being eligible for the 2014 NHL Draft as late ’95 birthday. He was the youngest player out on the ice at the Herb Brooks Arena this summer. You could see he was a bit younger by his approach to the game being a tad apprehensive, although he also displayed at times his deceptive moves and skill sets. He is an intelligent player at 16-years old, shows poise with the puck, and good offensive instincts. Overall, he is a valuable all-around player who will return to Finland’s WJC roster for a second go-a-round and garner considerable NHL attention this season.
Russ Bitely from the USA Hockey National Junior Evaluation Camp

ISS Top 30 #3 Sasha Barkov @Barkovsasha95 Ultra-talented playmaker dominates on both sides of puck. Power Fwd w/good puck handling ability.

I know, in the SM - liiga he's also playing against guys 2x his age. 6'3... Not very physical but I think a line of Girgensons - Barkov - Armia would be sickening.

Do I really have to post the numbers to show that Weber hasn't outplayed Myers? Minutes per game played, Goals, Points, all more than Weber. The only difference is that Weber has played his role better than Myers. Has Myers been good? Absolutely not, but like I said before, what would you rather have on your team, 6 Mike Webers or 6 Tyler Myers? It's the same argument as what would you rather have, 9 Jason Pominvilles or 9 Steve Ott's? Talent is more important in this league
