Feaster plan is to Sign UFA Players to lots of money next season,I would not be surprise if Feaster give an offer sheet to Gagne
- AlEx_OiL

Last nights game reminded me of what the Oil have gone through for the last few years, outplay the opponent in terms of effort EDIT: (some nights) but get pwned on the scoresheet EDIT (every night).

Feaster's plan is to sign or trade for non-NHLers in the hopes that they will become NHLers... How many chances did Cervenka and others get last night and couldn't get a decent shot to the net?

I feel for you Flames fans, I really do, but you guys are going to have a loooooong couple years before any sunlight starts to break through the clouds.

Judging from what Feaster has received for the assets you had, and his assertion that he won't go rebuild - you guys should get a new GM, he isn't built for this kinda job.

Oilers will make it 5 in a row tomorrow night!

After watching last nights game, I'm praying that Flames get Seth Jones in the draft (I use to think we needed N MacK). Flames defense is horrible!

I don't see how an 18 year old will help that. He will need quite a few years before he can be fully effective in the NHL. I still think that I would go after McKinnon and/or Barkov and try to pick up Ristolainen or Pulock later in the draft.

Agreed, i have already come to grips with the fact that this team is taking HUGE steps backwards. Gonna be a tough couple years for sure.

I for sure figured that we would get more for Bou, but I guess that contract was a big deal for teams.

id bet EK's live on the fact Riemer or Scrivens wont be going anywhere..Scrivens is on a 2 way contract right now and it turns into a NHL contract next season.I could be wrong but i dont think he would need to clear waivers to be moved down to the marlies for the rest of the season..

Now with that of my chest i think Nonis would need a bat to the head if he actually picksup another goalie for the rest of this season and the playoffs..The experience our tenders would get from going to the playoffs would benefit them both in a huge way..We all know we are not a cup team this year so why bother giving up asset's for a plug for 2 months..I got a tukka rask feeling with all this goalie trade talk..if nonis has a brain in his head the first moves made would be to get a shutdown d and a big center..

Yeah...you're wrong.

He would need to clear. So it's either they move him to the Flames, or lose him on the waiver wire.

Keeping him down their is just as good for him. Some people take longer to develope. Look at Kadri he is now starting to show his potential and he was in the ahl for almost 3 years.

That was pretty low of them to strongarm that deal on gameday.

The Flames came out flat because their management shocked them with the Bouwmeester trade. Bummer.

- Morris

Feaster and St.Louis did that on purpose in order to keep JBo's iron man streak alive.
