Ohh, sorry.

Actually, there is one question to which they are ALMOST the right answer:

"What band has musicians who are all extremely talented at playing their instruments and write intricately complex music which is ruined by their inability for that music to be well structured as well as their singer's voice?"

You'd think the obvious answer is Dream Theater. But it could also be "The Liquid tension Experiment with a horrible singer."

I gotta believe if either Boston or Philadelphia offered Nieuwendyk 2 2nds for Jagr right now, Nieuwy would drive Jagr to either city himself.
- johndewar

Not sure about that. Jagr has been really good for the Stars this year. But they're going into seller mode. Probably going to dump Derek Roy, too

Stay on topic please. Discussing the reason someone should get banned should get you banned.

Told Flyers are not seriously in mix for Jagr. Will check on price, that's it. Flyers unlikely to outbid true rental teams.

I doubt this very much. Jagr back here makes more sense than Clowe and Vanek.

- KGBflyers10

Jagr does not make much more sense than Clowe. All speculation has stated that Clowe would be traded with an extension already attached to it. Jagr would not be signing an extension, as he likely only have one or two 1-year contracts left in his career.

Regardless, none of them make sense until we hear what is going back in the trade, and whether or not there are subsequent moves after the fact.

He'd be a help. He's not the stud that people thought he'd be, but he is a solid top four guy. Big kid, good skater.
- Jsaquella

Exactly what do you give up for a guy like that....you cant trade a package based on potential anymore, but he is still a top four guy, but not a great top four guy...ugh I dont know

Tool.

If you aren't listening to them, your ears should hate you.

They are alright, from what i have heard. Not the biggest fan but also haven't heard all of their music to make a fair assessment.

All while stick handling a large rock with a weighted hockey stick.
- johndewar

And carrying a small cow over one shoulder with Nieuwendyk riding the brakes to make it more of a challenge.

Strangely I wouldn't mind seeing Jagr back here. He was really good for the kids and kicking some of our vets in the butt... And we all know we could promise top line minutes again! Unfortunately I seriously doubt they will want anything reasonable for him.

I hear you, but as good as Jagr has been in a shortened season, you know he could just as easily fall off a cliff next year. He's in awesome shape, but he's still 41.

I disagree.. adding Clowe or Vanek would allow the Flyers to move Simmonds or Voracek for D help. Granted.. it would take something to get those players...

Clowe is looking for an enormous deal at about 7 to 8 years. Why would the Flyers make that trade when they have Simmonds and Hartnell?

Trading Voracek is asinine, IMO.

Your non-stop analysis of potential Stars trades isn't going to land you a gig on the Sixers Post Game show..

Maybe it would NOT include a NTC/NMC for a change.

don't be ridiculous. Flyers hand out more of them than pediatricians give out lollipops to young kids.

Weren't they already offered 2 2nds for Jagr? How do you pass that up? It'll be interesting to see if they get more before tomorrow.
- wolfhounds

Maybe they want Boston's first round pick, and think they can get it.

Long songs, lyrics that actually say something versus the fluff and emo poop contained in most songs, and insanely good musicians.

Listen to Aenema... and actually listen to the lyrics. If that song doesn't get you, you probably won't be a Tool fan. (but I still wouldn't rule it out)

My pediatrician used to give me random needles.. never knew what the (frank) they were, some kind of "health shot". After like 10 of them, I got a new doctor.

Curious.. what did he do to you to make you mention a ban? People should be banned for treating others like dirt, not talking about hockey.
- mikel33

It's fine, an opinion was expressed, and the question was answered. According to strict interpretation to the CoC, the conversation should be limited to hockey.

That said, a lot of folks come here to spend time talking to people that have come to "know" over the course of several years and in a lot of cases have personally met and hung out with.

The mods asked once if the community wanted to be free to go off topic and have a rambling sort of experience. It was overwhelmingly in favor of it. That freedom to wander off topic leads to more traffic and comments, which leads to more cash for Eklund.

If I am asked by a mod to knock off talking about OT stuff, fine. But I'm discussing a trade made that was analyzed in the original blog. Rosehill's name is in the headline of it. What the (frank) do people expect to discuss when Rosehill is in the headline of the blog?
