Honestly, I don't think it's that farfetched.

True story: After taking my most recent dose of Vicodin, I took a bath before we went out to our tax appointment tonight. So, my wife comes in to make sure I'm ok. I got an itch on my face and scratched it dazily before saying, "My hand is wet."

We got into the cubicle at H&R Block (in the old Clover shopping center) and I slurrily tell the rep that my wife will be handling the questions due to my condition.

Then, I proceeded to answer every question with her.

So now that the Flyers are 6 points back instead of 2 are we going to start hearing about games in hand? I don't think people realize how low the odds are for the Flyers to make it into the playoffs.

I want to see pride and fire and the team to do the best they can in the games they have left. If that includes playoffs, great, if not, the kids and veterans still playing showed a lot of heart and fire, and it's something to build off.

Haha its alright, we had a laugh about it and I made a fake 5 minute shower birthing video of myself, to scare her of the future.

Its not so much making the playoffs for me as it is playing with any semblance of hockey IQ, just start winning board battles and make smart plays. Playoffs or not, it benefits this team to start winning than to root for a better draft pick. In my opinion at least.

I enjoyed the games against the Bruins and Caps and loved the effort, but in the grand scheme of things is a goal with 9 seconds going to help the franchise. I am torn on this. No way I would want the team to lay down and that means, unfortunately, Homer can't sell off the limited pieces at this point.
