brett bellmore, a call-up from charlotte has essentially taken over his spot in the D rotation, i think mueller likes him and sanguinetti better than mcbain. he has somehow worked himself into the dog house and has had trouble getting out all year. i think he has upside but it will take time, he is worth a shot but i think the canes want a roster forward and not a draft pick but things could change by tomorrow.

Tim should realize that Meszaros was never fully 100%. And that's the way a player plays, when he's not fully recovered from injuries. Achillies tendon injuries take a long time to be 100%. And there's no way his shoulder was fully healed. Hard enough to play defense when a player is healthy.

Anyone got bit more of a read on McBain that is the internet? Will admit I havent watched or paid much attention to him.

I was all in for a plan on signing Streit to a reasonable deal if possible as a bit of a stop gap, and ensuring this team continues to build properly through the draft.
