Wow, how far they have fallen out of grace. What's the deal on those two?

Montador has had debilitating concussion problems.

Barker just sucks.

My friend is a Bruins nut, but he is objective. He follows their minor leagues he's been up to Providence for a bunch of games, he said the guys they gave up are basically career minor league players.

Jagr is a 40 some yr old rental. What do you expect?

Besides, if the Flyers want them, they can grab them now for free. Got spaces.

Yeah, but Dallas got basically the same return for a one year rental as Calgary got for their franchise player
- Jsaquella

With each new trade comes another crotch punch to Feaster and the CGY fans. I would be pissed if I gave a monkey's a$$ about that team. While the Jagr trade is not better then the Iggy trade, Iggy is the bigger acquisition and should have received more for him. The JBO trade is laughable.

I'm looking at 78 games played and 27 goals in his last season with Dallas

Once upon a time he looked like gold for Chicago and was the 3rd overall pick! Epic fail. Wonder if Homer takes a flyer on him. No pun intended.

I agree. I didn't expect Jagr to fetch a huge haul. That said he will help Boston.

Barker was cut from Dallas' AHL team this season... I think his 9-lives are up.

Just edited last post, noticed that. Even still look at his shot totals. And his PPP points quadrupled.
Did Pittsburgh win that deal, probably just because Neal could good more with Malkin/Crosby than with Dallas, but I really don't think they got fleeced.

Bouwmeester had a NTC, as well.

Both trades sucked. He had another week left to wait for better offers for Iginla. Think Pittsburgh offers a little more after Crosby's injury?

Regardless.. he was a top line forward with Dallas who saw his gpg increase each year.. from 24 to 27 to 30 to 40.

- Jsaquella

Solid replacement for Talbo... unless they gave up too much... 4th rd pick or they lost out.

Largely because they are all up with the big club.
