no. we don't need defensive prospects or draft picks.
- rangerdanger94

can't keep all of them, can always turn around and trade a couple for offensive help

Whatever person they do bring in needs to be physical and score or do 2 deals, one for a scorer and one for a guy who actually hits people, can bring energy and drop the gloves. I look at guys already mentioned here like Clowe and Glencross as fits. Also, maybe someone like Ryan Jones from Edm. I know he's had a couple of years where he's scored 15+ goals and he's a 3rd line grinder type. Only 2 goals so far this year, looks like an off year maybe he'd come cheap.

I think they have scorers already(ie stars). They're just not scoring. They could use a big body that is hard to move. Crash the net dirty goal kind of player. Is it clowe? maybe. But his size is a start. Glencross or clowe or both would be nice if you ask me. This team lacks size and grit

(I didn't say jam)

I really don't expect them to do much but there is still the unknown and with all of the movement already its hard to to wonder/hope that if they do make a move it turns things around...I remember how Jokinen was suppose to help but Prust ended up being the best player in that trade....who knows???

this team lacks scoring. not superstar scoring but bottom 6 scoring. glencross would fit in perfectly imo.

clowe would too if he can start putting the puck in the net. he's a very good playoff player with 45 points in 68 playoff games.

we need players to replace pyatt, boyle, and powe in the lineup that can each score 2-4 more goals before the season ends. or they need to score 2-4 more goals for us each before the season ends. that would be so huge for us.

Yea. Sather knows what's he's doing with trades . He rarely makes a bad trade. He knows what and who to keep. I'm confident in that

I hate the flames jerseys... but LOVE the retro ones. I hope they switch to those full time at some point.

Pyatt really was a bad addition. Powe and asham are good for 4th line. A 3rd line with glencross would be a significant improvment

Should we make our predictions as to what new player(s) is/are going to end up with the Rangers tomorrow? Winner wins punch and pie?

Think about how many teams changed only to go back to the original...Sabres, Blues, Islanders...I guess not that many...the original 6 uniforms are still the best

Teams like Oikers and even Islanders that switched to their retro sweaters, they all look good.

Thats tough to predict. Who was it that reported the Rangers are in on Glencross? Usually those guys are pretty good. Feaster has a good relationship with Tortorella, he knows the type of player he likes....I am going to say Glencross and thats it...

I did hate him for elbowing Drury, but I'd love to have him

I would rather Clowe and hope that's who they get but I see someone else offering more. I say Rangers acquire Glencross and Stempniak from Calgary. Then they'll do some little deal like they always do a 7th rounder for a depth guy.

I'm going with Dan Boyle and Benoit Pouliot.

Edit: I think they are going to make a real run at Glencross as well, but I think ultimately, it will cost too much. Calgary is going to need to hold onto some players, even if they are rebuilding.

Whats Boyle, D and Pouliot going to cost in your opinion?
