They need Fasth in the lineup immediately for more quickness and scoring depth. Sit Boyle permanently, or better yet deal him with a pick/prospect for Glencross or Hedjuk. They missed the boat on Bergeron, he could've really helped the PP and wouldn't have cost much. |

I wouldn't give MacIlrath for anyone...yet. Beukeboom is grooming the kid. I am very interested in seeing how that turns out. - mames11
Mcilrath is expendable. |

Hejduk is injured I think. Plus he's old and slow.
Glencorss is a different story. |

Oh ok, I didn't know that. He's still got decent ability and can shoot which we need. Glencross or even Stempniak could probably be had for a 3rd/B-prospect. |

If they still had this years 1st rounder I'd say go after Yandle but they don't have enough unless they deal one of Kreider or Miller which is a no-go. |

MikeHeika: Jaromir Jagr to Boston. I'm hearing two prospects and a draft pick.

Arm's race between the Pens and Bruins.
Edit: There is a definite benefit to singing old guys that can still play in the off-season to short term deals, as you can usually unload them at the deadline for pretty decent hauls. |

Too bad, I would have liked Jagr back on the Rangers. A line with Nash and Jagr would have been nice, both so tough to take the puck from. |

I think they traded for him 3 times. At least twice, but could swear they did it three times. |

Honestly I love Hagelin but with guys like Lindberg and Fasth coming up do you think maybe we can use him as a piece to get something more valuable? It sucks but I think I would be willing to move him. Hagelin, Gabby, and this years 2nd for Couture and Clowe? Have Couture and Stepan down the middle for years to come looks mighty nice. San Jose has Marleau, Pavelski, and Thornton that can all play center. Just throwing it out there. - adwolf130
i'd rather trade lindberg or fast over hagelin though. hagelin's speed and the way he uses it to hound the puck is one of a kind in this league and it would be hard for me to trade that away. |

Just admit it, you're allergic to offense, aren't you.
Jimbo, he is allergic to offense isn't he?
I'm joking TJ. They do need more jam, but when the players that regularly play on the 3rd and 4th lines this year have combined for a total of 11 goals, the jam guys that they bring in need to be able to score a little as well. |

Great job Brandon, not bragging, but how many other threads could have so many good fill in guys like we have, Midnight, Pete, Glen, Jimbo. Kudos boys. And I hate the word kudos, almost as much as JAM! |

Would you deal Gabby to Pitt if they gave up those top quality prospects everyone wants on D and a 2014 first? Im talking a great package but then your handing Pitt the cup. Would you do it? |

They are probably winning the cup anyways. As difficult as it would be to help them win, i think the potential benefit down the road clearing out enough space to possibly sign Malkin...oooo thats mouth watering... |
