If we clear the brush away and put picks back in the hopper then I will feel a bit better because it would be closer to trading bottom 6 guys and lesser picks for Clowe.

They do need to clear a bit of salary. Wouldn't surprise me at all if they try to trade some for draft picks.

With the prices being paid right now maybe Sather knows he can get a 3rd and 4th by trading a couple of guys out of Boyle, Pyatt, Powe, Asham etc. Plus I think in the summer around the draft they will deal Gaborik for a at least a 1st, maybe a 1st and 2nd or 1st and a prospect or 2.

Was just watching torts' presser from last night. He was saying they been telling the guys to get shots towards the net. We don't have bombs, but if we can get shots through to the net offense will go up he said. That's what happen on Stepans 2nd goal, the go ahead goal.

It took him 3/4 of a season to realize that Hank & Marty can't score goals for them also. I just hope that it is not 3/4 of a season too late.

I would like him back for the PK and his playoff experience. But, it would make the GM and coaching staff look real bad for letting him walk in the first place.
