I don't know what "chemistry" you see out there. I see the top line playing great and I would find a way to play them for 30 minutes a game like Washington use to do with Ovechkin.

Hemsky and Gagner have been playing worse lately than they did at the start of the season and a shake up there would be great. I think Paajarvi should be moved back to the third line and a real second line player should be brought in if they want to make a push.

Buffalo is apparently shopping Vanek, Pommonville and rumor is Miller is even on the table for the right price. I like Ott for a 4th line center.

There is also Ribero and Roy but the price might be really high for them even as a rental. However if we are serious about a run, an addition needs to be made. We can also spare a d and guys like belanger, jones, prospects, picks for a second line forward.

I thought you said we needed Kaberle and Omark.

i liked the line of PRV/Gagner/yak
I would like to get Clarkson or Clowe. Only if they agree to resign.
Ott is a 3rd sometimes 2nd line player. He would be a nice fit with Horc and jones

Strikes me he's a guy that will fit right in on the 3C and could be a serviceable 2C if they choose to move Kesler now.

For all the criticism Gillis gets, he usually does well in his trades.

- Morris

He really only gets criticized because of the team he is on. He did botch the Lou trade, but with that being said I somehow think if they dealt Lou they would be fighting for 8th not the division right now.

Yak would be to steep a price. I'm not sold Lucic couldn't be had. For Hemsky, Jones as the players involved. A 2nd in 2013 and how about 2014 1st? Could even throw Belanger in to sweeten the deal
- theireland

Why does Boston do this though? Nothing in that package replaces what Looch does.

your trading garbage for the most fearce power forward in the game... it would have to be this years 1st and at least 2 solid prospects then and maybe even hemmer. Have to be aware of the cap as well

I remember a somewhat respectable Canucks poster talking up Connauton as a blue chipper like 3 years ago. It was kinda funny.

yeah 4C is a complete misuse of Ott. He's out of our price range, but you don't play him 11 minutes a game.

Its onto Corrado now. Esplen said he'll be in the mix for the 2018 Olympic team.

Under the radar guys are what I'd be looking at too.
- Morris

Caron and Nolon would be solid 3rd/4th line additions with potential to move up as well.

Mcgratton looked good last night hahaha... (frank) that guys crazy mofo

I think he was at one time, but like many blue chippers they don't all pan out. Look at Ryan Ellis from the same draft. NSH needs defense and he can't crack that lineup.

Is Lucic really that highly regarded? Yes he is a monster but whenever I see Bos play which I admit isn't often, he doesn't seem as important to the team as he used to be

I don't know, sounds plausible. Only teams in the west legitimately better are Chicago and LA.

He lit up the WHL but he did it as a 19 year old. Fans jumping the gun and all that.

Anaheim? Guys like Getz, Perry and the Ageless Wonder know how to bring it in the playoffs.

if he wasn't he would have been moved already. Players voted last year he was the most feared player in the league... fight, hit, and score and he's 6'4'' 220lbs.

i think the oil should go after younger players that are physical. Volpatti, Maroon, Nolan, Reaves or Caron.... younger guys that are solid checkers with potential to move up. And would cost less. But don't get me wrong... i would love lucic here

Minny has beat them 2/3, SJ beat them 2/2, Detroit beat them 1/1 so far (8-3!).

West is a cluster(frank), who knows how many teams are better than Vancouver

more (relatively) cheap forwards with at least some toughness. Abdelkader, Boyle, Bickell, Horton, Cleary, Cooke, Higgins, Lapierre, LaRose, Dupuis, Nystrom, Comeau, Greening

Selanne sure, Sedins are about equal with Getz and Perry. Ducks are good but i'm not sure they're legit better than Vancouver, who now have someone at 2C.
