How long before some fans start talking about their draft position and how they can turn it around in the right situation because they have to be amazing to be drafted so high? - AdamFrench
I'm surprised the Oilers (fans) aren't clamouring at them.
The only thing Rosti Olesz is good for is acquiring Brian Campbell. |

I don't care if the Oilers are winning or if there is a concern about disrupting team chemistry. This is the year to finally move Hemsky for something half decent. All this Lucic mumbling got me thinking. Hemsky, Jones and a 2013 2nd rd pick for Lucic. Move Yakupov to the second line with Gagne and MPS and put Lucic with Harti and Horcoff on the 3rd |

Boston doesn't do that. |

Holy (frank).... you wouldn't move hemmer unless a beast comes, but you would add Clowe or Clarkson to the 3rd line.... Those are tough players that play in the top 6.
Also i would move Belenger for what ever and See if we could get Caron for Whitney. Potter looks good enough but we need a bruiser to play on the back end, either Fistric or Pecks could draw in.
On a bright side if the oil don't move much anything and happen to be in the playoffs, it could attract a lot of quality ufa's in the summer |

2013 1st rounder and one of the kids would have to go.... lucic is the identiy of the bruins...
He would also be on the 2nd line not 3rd |

For a rental? Who will pay that much? - doon
A team looking to counter the moves Pittsburgh made.
Jagr is producing like a 30-30 man right now. He could've been a better option then Iggy to be honest. |

I'm also on board with moving Hemsky. Move Yak up to the Gags/MPS line. I dont think you get Lucic at all though. Not with that package. Lucic I dont think is going anywhere.
Not sure if Edmonton is on his no move list, but what about Pomminville? |

I have to agree with some of the thoughts on HockeyCentral....I think Pominville would be a great move for Edmonton. He's a solid player, plays hard and doesn't back down from confrontation, plus his cap hit isn't bad and you have him for awhile. |

Boston is a good fit, but that's a steep price for a rental even for a player of his skill. I can see a 2nd plus prospect. |

I wouldn't play him above Yakopov. the Oilers need to find a way to get Yakopov on the second line where he belongs. I Concede. Lucic may be aiming high but at the deadline I still say Hemsky should be Moved for a truck with some offensive ability to play on the third line. |

Great move by the Nucks to get Roy. |

Keep Jones, he may not be a top scorer or anything, but he works his ass off in every game. |

Roy just went for a 2nd+, so we shall see.
There was a day where a guy like Jagr playing as well as he is would go for a 1st, prospect, and potentially a lessor roster player. |

Of course "Deadmonton" is on his no move list!! The place is just a complete poophole (even though I have never been there, or if I have it was just to go to the mall) and all they do is breed a losing culture. No one wants to go there cause it is gonna take 5 more first overalls on top of the 5 first overalls they just got during their 7 year rebuild now to even be relevant. Even then they won't be able to sign all 13 1st overall picks they get. -"supertroll" |

I like the idea of Pominville. I also always like the idea of adding a former captain |

Strikes me he's a guy that will fit right in on the 3C and could be a serviceable 2C if they choose to move Kesler now.
For all the criticism Gillis gets, he usually does well in his trades. |

it would cost yak and the first for lucic
i'd love to see it, I have a hard on for lucic. love to see
Hall/Nuge/Ebs
Lucic/Gag/Yak
PRV/Horc/Harti
Jones/Smyth/Brown
But it won't happen
maybe we could get a Nolan or King from the kings. Even Caron from the Bruins. |

I don't know what "chemistry" you see out there. I see the top line playing great and I would find a way to play them for 30 minutes a game like Washington use to do with Ovechkin.
Hemsky and Gagner have been playing worse lately than they did at the start of the season and a shake up there would be great. I think Paajarvi should be moved back to the third line and a real second line player should be brought in if they want to make a push.
Buffalo is apparently shopping Vanek, Pommonville and rumor is Miller is even on the table for the right price. I like Ott for a 4th line center.
There is also Ribero and Roy but the price might be really high for them even as a rental. However if we are serious about a run, an addition needs to be made. We can also spare a d and guys like belanger, jones, prospects, picks for a second line forward.

Yak would be to steep a price. I'm not sold Lucic couldn't be had. For Hemsky, Jones as the players involved. A 2nd in 2013 and how about 2014 1st? Could even throw Belanger in to sweeten the deal |
