I like that last night they didnt really play a great game and still came up with a convincing win. Loving MPS game right now. I noticed him every shift.

Garreth Stafford from WSH

- Morris

Had to be done. OKC needs good d-men if they want to make the playoffs.

This x1000

Hes our best puck mover. We cant move this guy right now

- hugefemale dog77

We could, but it would have to mean someone else is coming back.

Ideally you move him and get Streit and Morris

a little to far when saying Oilers best puck mover but I do agree Oilers needs to keep him for the playoff push unless Oilers are trading to get another player to help now.
- AlEx_OiL

Not at all. Hes our best puck moving dman from the defensive zone without question. Petrys a much stronger/faster skater and csn carry it better, but hes still abit sloppy with moving it

No kidding, finally embracing his job description. To add to your first point I like that the team after said they didn't play a great game. To win 4-1 and not be happy with their performance speaks to how they've grown

I thought I read he could be in play now. Hopefully he wants to play for Kreuger again.

I thought Streit was considered more of a P.P. specialist, do we really need that?

He even made a really nice little deke driving the net.

Wish pilgor were still around to let us all know how badly he sucks, how much better Turris is than Gagner and how Omark will outscore Eberle.

For what? Picks? Why?

Our gm submarining any small chance at the playoffs we have.
Isnt that the opposite of his job description?

- hugefemale dog77

As great as playoffs would be I think the focus still needs to be on building. Whitney won't be resigned. It would be awful if he left for nothing.

He plays all situations 24 minutes a night, granted he's more of that PP he'd sure help especially if Whitney is gone. Schultz and Petry aren't exactly lighting it up with the kids with passes, Streit can.

How do you go to your locker room tomorrow night and tell the kids that while you said you were done moving players for picks that this was a move they had to make? Hall is playing 100% out there for the team to go and add a pick(at best 2nd) who more then likely takes 4-5 years to make an impact it would be a slap in the face.

I never said it was a pick. All I said is Whitney needs to be a piece that gets moved. All this talk about Streit, Whitney and a 2nd for Streit. All I'm saying is you can't let a player with value leave for nothing

Streit for Whitney, Jones and a second.

Helps both clubs.

I doubt Hemsky moves now. Possibly this summer.

The only move I see is a possible blue line move if Whitney + goes somewhere.

If you can't get a player back I'd let him walk in the summer.

I don't think it would cost that much.

I almost think you can throw in a 3rd and get Streit from Long Island and Morris from Phoenix for those 4 assets. Heck if you have to keep some of Whitney's salary so be it.

With Bos getting Jagr, is Horton more available? What about Whitney for a player like Horton? I have no idea if that's a straight across trade but I'd be in favor of something along those lines
