NTCs, come back and bite you in the end. |

Look for the Blues to miss the Playoffs.

3 first rounders so far this year... Maybe they could steal another? 4 decent prospects to boot. And a possible 3 draft picks this year would probably kick start an unreal rebuild.
Maybe Feaster is smarter than we give credit for? - Viktory
But Feaster also almost gave away Calgary's 1st this yr when he went after O'Reilly...
On of the 1st should be top3...then you could potentially flip the other 2 for another in the top5... |

First round picks this year... I get this eerie feeling this draft will be another anomaly. Could be the year everyone wishes they were Calgary/Columbus. - Viktory
if Penguins and Blues picks were from 1 to 10 then yes but one of those picks is like a second and the last one probably 15th,so hope that your GM dont end up picking another high school kid. |

Decent return on J Bo, high salary where the cap is going down. What else would you get? |

I don't believe Jbo put a list of teams like Iginla did. |

nah Im sure there was a better deal out there and eventually it will come out, this was just Feaster trying to help the Blues make the playoff and keeping the Oilers away from the playoff |

Of course he did, might have been a bigger list though, but he wasn't going where he didn't want to go. |

mackenzie on TSN just said that, with the amount of teams interested in j-bo, the return should have been rattie and a pick (not necessarily a 1st, but a pick).
i'm paraphrasing, but mac basically said that feaster got bent over again.
mackenzie is pretty well informed, so if he thinks calgary should/could have gotten more, i'm gonna believe him. |

Three first rounders in this years draft...not exactly a bad way to start things...plus they still need to entertain moving Kiprusoff. Yikes. |

Agree. Good start given the NTC's Feaster was left to deal. |

read that Columbus is willing to move it's "extra" 1st and may do it for Cammy |

Mackenzie has a pope-like following. I doubt St Louis would give up Rattie for Bouwmeester. Maybe the list of teams interested wasn't really there. |

He can eat 30 minutes a night and provide a lot of offence, only a year left..I dont think Bouwmeester is a blueline titan, but its starting to seem like Feaster is just taking what he can get. You guys will only give up a 3rd for Kipper at this rate. |

Heard Bishop's name being mentioned as return. Evidently Calgary needs as many goalie prospects in the system as other players |

it wasn't just mackenzie (he just talked the most)....everyone seemed pretty surprised that the return was so low.
the 1st was obvious....but the two prospects are, AT BEST, c or d level prospects. the goalie was a 4th rd pick, and the d-man wasn't even drafted, was an undrafted FA. |
