If Jensen gets an automatic place on the twins line in his first NHL game (not to mention the dog fight for a playoff spot) then he's being showcased.

If you wanted to shake up the lines then why wouldn't you put Kassian with the twins? You know that was successful in the past. That would allow Burrows to fill a 2nd or 3rd line spot until bodies return.

I think the twins get their 18-20 minutes, and Jensen gets half of that +/- 3 minutes, depending on the game. Burrows is still gonna get minutes so he'll see some time at C, but Lappy will play in the middle too, also take some draws for Schroeder.

The team also wants to see what Jensen can bring because one of the things we lack are quality shooters up front, and if we can fill it internally there is no point in trading away picks / talent for it.

Brodeur is retiring and Luongo would do well in New Jersey. Raymond replaces some of Clarkson's offence. New Jersey also gets a 1st Round Pick. Vancouver gets a solid 6th d-man in Fayne to replace Ballard (traded or bought out) and Clarkson who brings some great offence.
