we've called 4 teams, left voicemails with 2, spoke to a secretary with 1 and got a 'this number has been disconnected with another.'

all in all, we're pretty optimistic

The thought of Clowe on a Kesler centered line makes me want to vomit... However, a 3rd line of Clowe OTT Kassian would give me a murder boner. Kassian would learn a TON about competing & assertive hockey being on the ice with those guys. If Buffalo's having a fire sale, get OTT!

Apparently Gillis did ask about Ott before and was told that he's unavailable, plus there's even some reports that he may be their next captain if Pominville is moved. So unless things have changed or if some team make a ridiculous offer for him, I doubt he gets moved.

Jensen Schroeder Kesler... If necessary, Kesler takes defensive zone faceoffs. This line has significantly higher offensive potential than any line we've seen Schroder on since we drafted him. I think he'd rack up assists & solidify himself as our 2nd line center of the present & future.
